The George Eliot Hospital, NHS Trust, appoints Danièle Ryman as Patron of the Arts (for Health's Sake).

Danièle has worked with the hospital for some time in various programmes. They confirmed that the decision was made by the Board, due to Danièle's international reputation, experience, credibility and the fact that she is a respected author and expert in alternative medicine and therapeutic plants. Daniele has a passion for art and attended the Institute des Beaux Arts in Paris.

Danièle's role will be to raise the profile of the hospital new arts programme and attract further projects, artwork and 'Well-being' plant and garden areas to enhance and benefit all those who either receive care, work or visit the hospital.

Danièle will be introducing a new annual award for the Arts for Health's sake programme.
